Faye Laviolette is a talent consultant, HR leader, startup builder and entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of experience in executive search and human resources. A proud native Calgarian, she has built her career partnering with organizations across the industrial, natural resource, energy, engineering, construction, mining, financial services and technology sectors.
Over the last four years, Faye has focused on building her own brand and business, proudly serving a portfolio of long-standing clients ranging from large public companies to growth-stage ventures and family-owned organizations. Her work is centered around helping businesses build high-performing leadership teams and strategically scale through periods of growth and transformation.
Faye brings a unique perspective to executive search, having worked both as an external advisor and in senior in-house recruitment and HR roles. She has recruited extensively at the executive and C-suite level across a variety of functional areas and industries, working with both Western Canadian and global search firms.
Prior to launching her own firm, Faye worked within the venture capital and startup ecosystem alongside the founders of SkipTheDishes at Harvest Builders. During her time there, she helped scale the company through multiple rounds of venture financing and supported the growth of the organization to more than 800 employees in under three years.
Outside of work, Faye is a passionate advocate for health, fitness and community involvement. She is an avid skier, former varsity athlete and proud hockey mom to two boys. She is actively involved in her boys’ school communities and never hesitates to lace up her skates and assistant coach their minor sports teams.
